There is R13 insulation in the walls and thin spray on coating on the ceiling. Not great but better than nothing. I was not there to supervise the septic install. The septic is higher than the slab and has a sewage pump. The county did a poor job with the perk test. Both neighbors have much lower se...

I got into one last year on a jerk bait and 10lb test. He was about 6'. We chased him with the boat for about 20 min. I don't think he knew he was hooked. He only jumped once at the end and threw it.

I have been looking at these a long time, I have a buddy in Tampa that has ordered one. I'm going to go try it out this summer. I have read they don't do well on the flats because they keep getting stopped up with grass. I want one to fish the upper flint river here in GA.

I think those are fiddler crabs. I think most people use blue crabs for bait. I saw a couple tying raw chicken to a string and throwing it in the water and leaving it a few minutes until it attracted the crabs. They would pull in the string real slow and the blue crabs would not let go of the chicke...

My first attempt at a crab lure. Now have to figure out to attach hooks. I took two colorado blades and stuck them back to back to make a clam shell. Looks cool in the cows water trough.

red fish lures

I am planning on targeting redfish from the yak this spring. Ive been reading that crabs are 80 percent of the diet of redfish but I have not seen many crab imitation lures. I am thinking about making my own. Do you think they hit gold spoons because they think they are crabs or fish?

I was looking for a site to host pictures to post here and ran across http://www.myfishingpictures.com. They have a lot of kayak fishing pictures there. Does anyone have any comments about using this site to host pictures?

As long as you never use a quality paddle you will never know the difference. Ive been using a $18.00 plastic paddle with aluminum shaft for years but I don't paddle miles and miles to a fishing hole.I usually start fishing close to where I put in. If your going to fish a lot of creeks and oyster ba...

fish release safety?

I fish regularly out of the yak in fresh water. The fish are pretty easy to get off the hook because they don't have teeth and give up easily once out of the water. How in the world do you get 2 treble hooks out of a bluefish or mackerel while in a kayak. You cant bring him in the kayak without hook...
