Thanks wevans, I wasn't aware of that. Their legal here in GA where I use them on bigger live baits like trout or large gizzard shad when fishing for fresh water stripers.

I don't understand why they don't at least offer a recirculating system with venturi and a filtration system as an option on boats with built-in bait tanks. W/o them their almost useless. You may want to consider a jet drive in the future if you're in an area with a lot of rocks. I know folks who use them and they can run in 4" of water or less with them in some of the small rocky rivers around here. It just takes more engine HP to get the same speeds that you may be use to with...
