Wakulla Beach 26 May 08
LunkerBrother and myself made our way to Wakulla Beach this morning for a little action on the water. Unfortunately he was the only that had any luck. Four hours and I only had one hit! I threw a top water Chug Bug, DOA shrimp in two colors, Captn' Mikes gold/ pink spoon, jig head with Gulp shrimp, ...

FISH dinner

Upon getting home I cooked this up....she never noticed! http://www.forumpictureprocessor.com/pictureprocessor/images/Coastal%20dinne...

Re: Rigging...

The other is a spade type which I have not used yet but many others have and they seem pleased with the performance in a variety of conditions. My folding anchor is fine arou...

Re: 7 lb trout
Lit, a question on the sex of large trout. I have read that a large percentage of Sea Trout in Gulf over 27" are female , any research to back that up in our area?

Hook, line and sinker! Thanks for all the laughter on my end and your welcome to all those who saw it for what it was and got a laugh as well. However, at 12 days past APRIL 1 it is time to call a halt to the humor. Especially funny were the club members at the April meeting quizing me on the TRUTHI...

Re: Hobie pedal drive kayaks
Don't take the "effortless" literally. Peddling is not difficult but as with any psysical activity it will depend on your conditioning. Your question of "how far in and hour?" Again too many variables to give a pat answer, wind, waves, tide, currents all effect forward progress. S...

It has been great for getting into some of the back country spots far from the parking areas. I have been impressed with the stabi...

Scouting trip 21 Mar.
After over a two year wait the Stoney Bayou Pond on the St. Marks LH road has been filled by the recent rains. I paddled across the very windy pond to the new dike and operable culvert system. It is about 50 feet feet from the pond to the upper reaches Stoney Bayou and not a difficult protage up one...
