Re: RIPPED HALF OF MY SKEG OFF !
My vote is for Porter also. Get the skeg repaired and have Waivel build you one of his rock guards all for around $200. It'll be the last time you spend money on the your skeg. Porter's rock guards are custom fit to your motor and will NOT interfere with performance. I personally wouldn't own a boat ...

Re: Snook in North FL?
I personally know guys that grew up here that have pictures of them catching snook and tarpon in the St. Johns river in downtown Jacksonville. It blew my mind when I saw the pictures.

Re: Snook in North FL?
I know until this past winters kill off people were catching them with some regularity here in the Jacksonville area. Specifically Ponte Vedra down to St. Augustine. There were a ton of small snook dead in the salt creeks around Ponte Vedra in January when it got so cold.

Re: going to Jax
The bridge on Beach Bld. has a good ramp and good fishing within paddling distance. As an added bonus, when your done fishing there is a restaurant next to the boat ramp where you can get a good sandwich & a cold drink.

Re: Kenner Boats
I use to own a Kenner 1800 Vision with a 115 Opti. The boat rode great and was plenty fast with a good hole shot. It also fished plenty for what it is. I fished many days up in creeks in less than 2' of water. The thing I miss most about that boat is all of the storage.
