I only kill sharks when they get in the shower with me. Other than that, they have the right to eat whatever they wish. That's why I am a retired scalloper and wade fisherman

The tip of my flyrod started buzzing and popping while i was switching flies on saturday. It was in my bucket on the platform sticking straight up. Needless to say, i threw it in the bottom of the boat and moved to a new location. Never had that happen before.

The scallops I have seen in St. Joe seem unusually small. I'm not sure they will even be worth picking up by July.
Let's hope all that oil boom they deployed this weekend works! Looked like 2 booms going across entrance to the bay, about 200 yards apart.

Yep. I get beat usually every time I run back into the bay from the beachside with a southern wind. Taking waves over the bow and idling the whole way is pretty standard for me on a windy afternoon. And my boat is 21'.
