Re: Scallop Season
They can back it down on the first try...that's easy. Its removing the straps and putting the plug before launching that gives em trouble.

Re: Lanark?
I went to Lanark on Sunday. Ran out to Dog Island Reef first thing. There was life out there for sure. Trout,Spanish, jacks, lady's(of course) and lots of sharks. Lots of rays and sea turtles too. It was pretty out there. That was my first time. We took a break to swim at the island and then tried the ...

Re: Scallop concentrations
I contacted FWC yesterday and was told the report was already out. I was confused because I had been checking everyday. The guy told me it was not a chart this year but a graph. It is a vey confusing graph at that. It is on the first page if you google 2014 scallop report. It is listed right under ...

Re: Pier Fishing Advice
For the Spanish use a trolling sinker with a Clarke silver spoon on 2- 2 1/2 ft of light wire leader. Throw it as far as you can let it sink and then reel as fast as you can. You will get your limit in no more than an hour. For pomps a pompano rig with sand fleas and/or shrimp will get you pomps ...

Re: Tallahassee guys..Commuting to the boat...
I trailer from Tally. I like to have options. I started fishing out of ST. Marks which I think is a good move. Now I launch from there, spring creek, rock landing or lanark depending on conditions. Dry storage would be nice but it's costly and it limits your options a little. Having grown up in ...

Re: rock the dock results?
There were big trout to be caught. I wasn't fishing the tournament( had to work Saturday) but I caught my biggest trout ever on Sunday. 27" and 6.6 lbs after sitting in ice for 2 hours. I also released a really fat 24" trout.
