heard it assorbs water and causes alot of rust in older tanks...as far as running, newer outboards are supposed to be ok, but have to drain or change filters alot.

I had a evinrude that did that, and I spent alot of time on it till I pulled the head and found that one of the pistons had broke a ring and was scuffing the cylinder really bad..ended up tearing it apart, took the power head in and had it rebored and all the cylinders honed and bought a new piston ...

someone was telling me that they were fishing approximately 42 miles from st. marks light house in about 70 feet of water....they came across this telephone pole like bottom. the area covered about 100 feet... ane ...

I am still learning my new GPS, Garmin GPSmap 76C and know that I need to get software for detailed charts, I believe BlueChart. What is best for the Forgotten Coast area, particularly Appalachee Bay and Appalachicola Bay areas.

Well I nailed a rock at 30 mph, was blessed that day, bought a skeg guard, called insurance company and uped my coverage's and now take it slow, if in doubt , go slower, I use my gps map and keep it updated, and it has worked for me so far..

Tried them all, got so many part spools, its ridiculous, but end up with what I started with, Ande, and use fluorocarbon leader material, and I don't cinch the knot, leave it a bit loose, dances better

Hey, I hit a rock at marker # 47 in the homasassa river, scared the crap out of me, had just gone that way the day before, no rock, high tide too, then the next day, incomeing, bam, took some metal off , but no damage, more to my heart, took the boat to the dealer, did a check up, ok, but tell you ...

I have used a lure made by "Yozui", called a "Twitchin Minnow", used it from the panhandle to Tampa Bay, caught about everything, Trout, Reds, Shark, and include in that a 38lb Cobia in Tampa Bay...
But here is the problem , can't find them any where, even on line...and if I do, I buy them up ...

Got a chance to head out of Homasassa yesterday, first since we moved to the area, found the trout in around 4 feet of water, caught 4, 2-19inchers , one 24 inches and one 16, then the dolphins came in to eat, tore the area up for over 30 min, no trout would hang around after that...

Had like problem with my 90 Johnson, spoke with a mechanic from dealer at the ramp one day and he said I had to learn to bump the choke for a bit to keep it going at cold start, then should be fine, I went one step further, I take the time, hook up a hose at home and run it a couple minutes in the ...
