It was a madhouse out there a buddy wants me to take him out next saturday but I might have to pass until scallop season is over. I kinda used...

Not dishonest, just from a Florida perspective. I don't hunt anyways or really have an opinion on the matter. I was just echoing a complaint a co-worker made last week on why he quit hunting in Georgia.

Heres the difference though,

Resident $13
Non-Res $30

Georgia Annual Big Game Hunting
Resident $9
Non-Res $135

Whats up with that, I guess you guys are lucky we're a tourist state.

Heres a link to a thread in Florida Sportsman that talks about tunnel hulls. It also has a link to a thread of a guy that built a tunnel hull in Tx and it shows pics of the kind of plate I'm talking about. I just have a Bob's and it helped a lot with the cavitation but I'm considering a shallow blas...

My Father in Law works on Cars out of a garage behind his house. He had his own Garage in Canada and has worked at many of the dealers here in town. I usually don't like to send people his way cause I know it looks biased. I can promise you honesty though.

PM me if you want his contact info.

These recent reports of everybody catching fish on redfins kinda got me thinkin along the same lines a while back. Heres what I mean. A while back I notice that wal-mart has a center aisle display with a whole side of Cotton Cordell Red fins. Now they have a whole display dedicated solely to Gulps. ...

A diver filmed this 7-8' worm on a reef. You spear fisherman better watch out you might get attacked by underwater Play-Doh. :o

Marine plywood would be the ideal way to go if you plan on redoing the entire floor and keeping the boat for a long time. I had a hard time finding it locally you can order it from various places if you google around. If you just have a local soft spot and only want to patch that you could get by wi...

Newbie,

Welcome to the forum. Hopefully that will sound familiar and someone will chime in. But if not fixing a boat floor is pretty much the same regardless of the boat type and location of the soft spot. If you have any specific questions we could probably get you started.

Thanks guys I just assumed most places wouldn't take back a prop once you used it, never really checked their return policies.

Redbelly, There are four blade aluminum props out there for Yamaha, here are two places I've found so far. I'm just leery of spending upwards of $400 for a prop and it not perform right. I don't think most places will let you return a used propeller. Look for the Michigan Vortex for Yamaha in the li...
