Re: Econfina 5-18
Yes Sir we do. Just thinking about the next guy. That was the first time I have ever been out of that river/ramp. Are there any others in the middle of the river along the way? finding them like this could get expensive... Fishing out of Econfina gets expensive. You just have to learn to deal with ...

Re: Econfina 5-18
Forgot to mention, there is a rock in the middle just as the river splits that island just down from the ramp in the NWZ that isn't visible or marked. Bent all 3 blades on my buddies prop..... You would think as many people that hit that rock, got me once or twice, that we'd dig the thing up & ...

Re: Where do we go from here
just thought I would "brag." Spent a long weekend at the beach with a good friend and his family. Some of you may know that I was celebrating a 6th wedding anniversary that was apparently not meant to be. Good friends, a good dog, a couple trips to the Raw Bar, a little bourbon and some t...

Re: Photo All-Release Tournament.....won't work?
When does possesion actually take place? When the fish comes out of the water or when it's hooked? If it starts when the fish leaves the water, then CPR tournaments are probably killing as many big trout as anything else. According to Pat McGriff and quite a few other respected guides, most big trou...

Re: Where do we go from here
Thanks, charley. I now understand the law. But still curious if folks plan on following it to the letter. Which I doubt all will. Until I am told I cannot, I will plan on handing the rod off to my partner if I hook a bigger one and he doesn't have one in the box. This only pertains to tourney fishi...

Re: Photo All-Release Tournament.....won't work?
Reel Cowboy, Please show us a post on any of the recent posts saying ANYTHING about reducing ANYBODY'S ability to keep their law abiding limit of fish? What they do in Texas has NOTHING to do with what the law says here in Florida. Trying the "as you say" good ol boy method to justify any...
