BarHopr, you are right up to a point. You can always do what I did last week. That is, see the big sucker [redfish]coming after your bait and reel real fast to get it away from him . That way you don't lose as much time hunting the more elusive more difficult to land species known as Spotted Seatrou...

I too like to hook n line fish inshore and try not to mess anybodys day up,sometimes y'all might be fishing in a spot that I have to go through but I do it as easy as I can and at times even leave traps that need pulling if somebodys fishing to close to them. I have more time in Stoney than anybody...

Hernando Beach

I'll be down there next weekend for a few days of fishing; but I've never been before.

So I'm just wondering if any members know anything about this place.

Thanks.

Do I have permission to slap these people at work?
Nothing (on T.V.) beats the NBA finals....nothing. And it's only that much better when the Lakers are playing. 8)

Slap away.

St. Joe Bay Drowning

Thought I'd pass this sad story along, since I know scalloping in St. Joe Bay is fairly common for members on this forum.

I think I'm gonna try scalloping for the first time this weekend with the wife and kids....though the Lighthouse boatramp last weekend has me thinking twice about that decision.

Beautiful fish.

Are people still getting bass boats in the lake? And how did you get your boat in there, and keep it floating for that matter? I looked at the ramp off Bull Headley and it doesn't look like you can get much more than a kayak in there.

I had the same thing happen to me about 4 weeks ago, and it was with a ladyfish as well. I was throwing a red and white YoZuri Crystal Minnow, landed a small ladyfish, and when the fish started getting all crazy it slipped out of my hand and the hook went in one part of my index finger and out anoth...

Re: BYE BYE ENGINE

DANG MIKE, I AM AFRAID YOU HAVE COOKED THAT ENGINE. ALWAYS BETTER TO HAVE MORE OIL AND GAS THAN NOT ENOUGH. EITHER YOUR FUEL WAS NOT MIXED CORRECTLY WITH NOT ENOUGH OIL OR THE FUEL MIX WAS THINED DOWN TOO MUCH WHICH WOULD MAKE THE ENGINE RUN TO0 LEAN. SORRY TO HEAR THAT. THERE ARE SEVERAL ENGINES A...
