Re: Sand bar out of the ochlockonee
Went out to the rotary reef today. Finally i might add, and low and behold there were other vessels out there no bigger than mine. Anyway we caught live crockers and mullet to go out with and had some really exciting hits. One i must say i am proud of because i reeled in a four foot king. Thanx for ...

Sand bar out of the ochlockonee
Great Sunday to everyone. I am going to take a few friends out inshore fishing on friday and had a few questions if anyone is familier with the ochlockonee bay area. The last time i was out (about a week ago) there was what appeared to be a sand bar off in the distance to the left toward shell point ...

Re: Fishing this sat. at Ochlockonee bay
That is interesting because before i got my boat we would go to the mashes sands pier with very little success. Occasionally we would go a little farther for us to the b.p. pier with decent fishing. I think it is the way the tide rolls in over there.
It takes awile but i catch on.

Re: Need advice on a new spinning combo
The heavy action (expensive) Shimano rod i have is tough as nails but does not cast like the (inexpensive) medium action Daiwa. That was a run on sentence run on sentence   With the med. i get more of a flick than a throw. My lures seem to go farther when i use my wrist as oppossed to ...

Re: favorite topwater lures??
The smaller badonkadonks are really hard to walk consistently as oppossed to the larger ones. The action is very fast and you have to be on the look out for it to work when you through it far. The storm chug bugs have awsome action and are very easy to walk, even from a distance. I have not cought ...
