If you're sight fishing or plan on doing a lot of trolling they're great; if not a tower is as useless as teet's on a bull. Re: How edible are Skipjacks?
Well, common names sometimes confuse me with fish, but usually bonito are "Little Tunny" and skipjacks, are, skipjacks. I personally consider bonito to be catch and release fish, unless you have a need for bait strips or shark bait. Some do eat them in small raw pieces, but I don't. They ...

Since moving here in December and meeting my service manager, Donnie, all I have heard from him is how superb the bass fishing is on the lake at his house. Early last week Donnie asked me to join him to do a little Bass fishing on Lake Tallavanna. So I decided to give Journey's End the weekend off a...

You're in a good area. First and foremost welcome aboard. I can't tell you much about wade fishing but if you talk nice to ole Don he'll give you some real pearls of wisdom on catching the ever-elusive Sailcat, as he's our resident expert. :smt064 :smt042 In all seriousness TC's probably forgotten ...

Bodine, Two Guys from the office, Ben and Donnie, and I went out on Saturday. I called Jeff Friday night and asked him to set my pinfish trap off the boat he called me back a few hours later to say it only had two in it that should have been a sign.
